Magic Leap is one of the most talked about startups in recent memory. It has raised over $1 billion (yes with a ‘b’) to develop augmented reality products that haven’t ever been seen by customers. So it’s exciting to announce that their Director of Product Management, Josh Anon, will be amongst the lineup for INDUSTRY ’17.

Joining Josh is Sam Goertler, product manager at Asana, a company started by a Facebook co-founder that develops a hugely popular task management platform. Sam brings considerable experience to the table having held product roles with Microsoft and Yammer and is now leading the Asana New York office.

JOSH ANON

Josh Anon is a director of product management at Magic Leap, a secretive AR startup with over $1 billion in funding. He spent the first 10 years of his career at Pixar Animation Studios where he worked in a variety of roles. From Pixar, he moved to Lytro, Inc. as a senior product manager, where he gained experience with developing and marketing a disruptive product. Josh led cross-disciplinary teams across the company as product owner for the Lytro Mobile app, Lytro Illum, and more.

SAM GOERTLER

Product Manager, Asana | New York, NY

Sam Goertler leads the Asana New York office and is dedicated to building a world-class development team from the ground up. She oversees everything from the product roadmap and execution strategy to fixing the wifi. Prior to Asana, she held several product positions with Microsoft and Yammer, and received a degree in Political Economy from UC Berkeley.
